Dad’s Morning Brew

  • If there is a better way for kids to bond with their dad, or mom, than fishing, I’m not sure what it is. There is something about getting up at the crack of dawn,  casting your line out and waiting with dear old dad for the fish to take a bite. I spent so many days and hours fishing with my dad and I have so many great memories. There were some bad ones too, like the time we ventured out to Huntington Flats with his little 15-foot single-hull boat trolling for barracuda. We hit some serious swells that day and after rocking up and down for a few hours, I lost my pancakes over the side. All part of the memories though. So if fishing sounds like something you’d like to do with your kids, the city of Fullerton is ready and willing to train you how to do it. OC REGISTER
  • With my youngest child now 6, it’s a faint memory for me to remember what it was like before my kids were born. Still, this blog is about being a dad, even from day one, and so I recommend this article with tips for expectant fathers, like my brother Brian. THE FATHER LIFE

  1. This is a good resource. My wife’s expecting, but this is our 3rd, so I already knew some of it. I’m still no expert, though, so thanks, Tony.
